Making your Movie
Exporting your music from GarageBand:
- Once your music is done:
- Click on SHARE on the menu bar
- Click on EXPORT SONG TO DISK
- Uncheck the COMPRESS box and Click EXPORT
- Navigate to your Student_Home Folder and save it there
Exporting your Keynote to a self-contained video file:
- Once your Keynote is done and the whole presentation moves from slide to slide and action to action automatically:
- Click on FILE on the menu bar
- Click on EXPORT
- Make sure you are in the QuickTime option
- Playback uses: Manual Advance
- Formats: Full Quality, Large
- Click the NEXT button
- Save As: Your Name in your Student_Home folder
- Keynote will process your movie
Using iMovie to put it all together:
- Once you have exported your movie and video, use iMovie to put them together, customize, and export your finished product:
- Click FILE on the menu bar
- Click NEW PROJECT
- Switch your project to STANDARD 4:3
- Title the project YOUR NAME
- Import your movie file

Thinking about Entrepreneurship - Web Quest
Today you will be looking at Entrepreneurship. Although, not everyone will start or run their own business, it is a great option that allows you to be your own boss, and follow your passions. You may not think this is an option for you, but sometimes life takes turns, and entrepreneurial opportunities fall into your lap.
Today you will be completing a Web Quest. Log into your student email (click the student email link above, or go to mail.glps.k12.mi.us). Your user name and password are the same that you use to log into your computer. Send me an email (clarkt@glcomets.net), please put your class hour in the subject line. Be sure to use an appropriate greeting and closing line. Include the following information:

- Click here to take "The Entrepreneur Test". After taking the test, read the description for our results. Email me your test score and your reaction to the results.
- Using a search engine (google, yahoo, bing, etc), find a college that offers a course in entrepreneurship. In your email to me, list the following three things:
- the name of the college
- the name of the course
- the course description
- Do a web search for successful entrepreneurs. Find 3 characteristics (that you find in your searching) that most entrepreneurs have. List them in your email to me, and include at least 2 websites that you used to find the information.
- Do a web search for Young Entrepreneurs. Find one list the following items in your email to me:
- Their name
- Their business name
- What they do in their business
- How old were they when they started their business
